Story Sessions are activity-based family sessions focused on connection, movement, and real moments as you spend time together doing what you love most. Instead of planning around poses, we build your session around an experience that feels natural and meaningful to your family.
Whether that looks like baking together at home, riding bikes to your favorite ice cream stop, picnic lunch at the park, boating on the lake, hanging at the skate park, a family basketball game at the court, or simply enjoying a slow morning in your own space, the activity becomes the backdrop for your story.
During your Story Session, my role is to document what unfolds naturally. The laughter, the quiet moments, the in between interactions, and the way your family connects when you are simply being yourselves. I’ll offer gentle guidance when needed, but the focus stays on movement, interaction, and allowing moments to happen rather than directing them.
These sessions are perfect for families who want photos that feel lived in, honest, and full of life. The kind of images that bring you right back to how this season felt, not just how it looked. Full family sessions take place at a location of your choice. You’ll receive a minimum of 60 high-resolution images, delivered through a private online gallery for easy access and sharing.

Where are you located?

What should we wear?
Before your session, I’ll send you a style guide with outfit ideas to help you prepare. I’m also happy to review your outfit choices and offer tips to ensure you feel confident and look your best during your photoshoot.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
Coming from a large family, I’m used to being around lots of kids and will do my best to help them feel comfortable during our session. I also understand that things don’t always go perfectly—and that’s totally okay! My style is candid and natural, so I’ll guide you to interact and play, capturing the fun and joy of your family just as you do in everyday life.
How do I book my session with you?
Booking a photography session is simple! Just reach out through my website and let me know the type of session you're interested in. I’ll help you find a convenient date and time, as well as the perfect location. I typically book sessions about two months in advance.
What if the weather is bad the day of?
I always check the weather before your session, and if rain, strong winds, or cold temperatures are expected, we’ll decide together whether to reschedule. If rescheduling isn’t an option, I also have an indoor studio available as a comfortable alternative. You can take a look at it here.
How soon will I receive my photos?
Your online gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks of your session. From there, you can download and save the high-resolution images to print, share, and enjoy. You’ll also have full printing rights for all your photos.
